Keith Mozee

Keith Mozee

Keith Mozee is a Veteran of the U.S. ARMY and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Urban Studies and Planning from California State University Northridge. He also serves as an adjunct professor at LATTC and is a longtime member of the American Public Works Association (APWA).Under his direction, the city has received many awards for pavement preservation and recycling. Keith entered city service in 1989, has worked and overseen several Bureau divisions, and became Assistant Director in 2016. Keith has oversight of the largest pavement preservation program in the nation, spanning over 23,000 lane miles. He interacts with city and non-city agencies to coordinate construction activities on the city's network of streets including over 200 utility companies. Keith is also responsible for the Bureau's Emergency Operations/Emergency Response and is leading the Bureau's efforts to provide Angelenos with employment opportunities, including those who may face barriers to employment.

Greg oversees three constituent-facing divisions that respond to more than 135,000 service requests annually. The 500 staff under his oversight handle functions including pothole repair, motor sweeping, tree trimming, and the enforcement of laws pertaining to use of streets and sidewalks. Passionate about technology and innovation, Greg received a Mayoral Innovation Fund grant to equip pothole inspectors with tablets, enabling same-day inspection of thousands of service requests. Greg also serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer for the Bureau, shaping policies supporting active transportation, climate change adaptation, vehicle emissions reductions, and the adoption of sustainable construction practices. Greg has obtained a BA in Political Science from Yale University, and a Masters in Public Policy from UCLA, including a Leadership in Sustainability Certificate.

He has 36 years of experience in both public and private sectors including 23 years with City of Los Angeles/department of Public Works, 4 years as Director of Utilities & Engineering/”City Engineer” for the City of Redlands, 4 years as Executive Director of Public Works agency at the City of Santa Ana and 5 years as Managing Director of Developments and Asset Management company. He currently leads the bureau’s Sidewalk program, Design-Build and Engineering divisions. In Capacity of Public Works Director for 8 years, he presided over multiple programs including water, wastewater, solid waste, transportation, traffic, land developments, engineering, permits, urban forestry, maintenance, design and construction, streetcar, light rail, regional train station, fiber optics utility enterprise and other public works infrastructure and administrative programs. As Managing Director in private sector, he was accountable for implementation of commercial developments in western US and Central America, syndications and investor relations. He is Registered Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in the State of California, Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute and LEED-AP professional from Green Building Institute. He holds a Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees in Civil Engineering as well as Masters degree in Applied Mathematics from University of Southern California.

Stephanie Clements

Stephanie Clements

Stephanie has worked for the City of Los Angeles for more than 22 years, working in various city departments including the CAO's Office and the Department of General Services, and has served as the Assistant Director of StreetsLA since 2017. She has extensive experience in all aspects of city administration and currently manages StreetsLA financial and administrative programs, including contracting, human resources, and risk management. Stephanie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Economics and Political Science from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Arts in Public Administration from USC. Stephanie is proud of her Los Angeles roots and is committed to making StreetsLA the best run department in the city!
